MCC Orientation for New Students - Wintersession and Spring 2013

Please read the following information carefully:

During Orientation, you will:

• meet with an academic advisor
• register for classes
• learn from other students and professionals about being a student at MCC.

New Student Orientation sessions are for students only.

EDISON CAMPUS DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
Orientation sessions take place in Billy Johnson Hall (BH on the campus map). Please park in
Lot #1 (white lined spaces). Handicapped parking is also available in the lot directly adjacent to
Edison Hall (ED on the campus map).

PAYING YOUR BILL AND FINANCIAL AID:
An important part of becoming a college student is understanding your tuition bill payment. You
must pay or make payment arrangements by:

Wintersession
December 3rd – Wintersession 2013 Tuition Bill Payment Due
December 17th – Late Registration Fee of $40.00 for Wintersession 2013 Begins

Spring
January 3rd – Spring 2013 Tuition Bill Payment Due
January 7th – Late Registration Fee of $40.00 for Spring 2013 Begins

Financial aid funds (grants and/or loans) will be applied to your tuition bill only if you have
received an award notice from MCC's Financial Aid Office before your bill due date. If the
amount of your award does not cover your bill you must pay the balance due or make payment
arrangements before your bill is due.

Wintersession begins Wednesday, December 26, 2012 and ends Friday, January 11,
2013.

Spring 2013 semester begins Tuesday, January 22, 2013 and ends Wednesday, May 8,
2013.

IMPORTANT – CLOSINGS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS: To determine
if the College is closed due to inclement weather on the day of your Orientation, visit
www.middlesexcc.edu. If the college is closed, orientation will be postponed and you
will be contacted to reschedule a session.
